I had the idea to make this and at the outset I was thinking of all the things that was bad about 2020, and boy, there was a lot. Then I stopped myself. “Self”, I said, “there had to be something good this year.” I said to my husband, “What are some good words to describe this year?” And this is the result of our brainstorm session. We realized that all the things that we hold dear, thankfully, are still here. And although this year was not at all what we expected, it was full of love and a greater appreciation of what we truly hold dear. Here is what I have to say to this past year, “2020, you were a truly terrible horrible year. Yet, you brought us together and forged our bonds stronger than they were in 2019. I thank you for that.”
