Sea Turtle

egelady

Sea Turtle – I love these guys. They are graceful swimmers. Their lives start out with much danger of trying to get from its nest to the sea. Because of our lights many don’t make it. Of course, many don’t make it because of other predators, too. We don’t know much about their first few years of life. We do know that they mature slowly, reproduce slowly and live for a long period of time. Only the females return to where they were born on land to lay their eggs. That trek home can be thousands of miles (so it could be said that they are determined.) We should be determined to save them. There are many groups working to do just that. Find one and see what you can do.
