I will be showing at the Feeding South Florida Fun Run on April 6, and decided to do a couple of paintings with the running theme. I don’t know if this will be a successful fundraiser or not, but I thought, let’s give it a try.
This one was a dry swipe against the Payne’s gray background. I then covered the swiped runner in UV resin to have him stand out even more. I also added dragonfly glaze to the varnish for the background to give it some more color. When you look straight on, it is all one color. As you walk around it shifts from glue to purple.
