Neon Angel – This picture comes at the right time. We received news that the best boss we had passed away. So, I am a bit sad and seeing the bright neon colors brightens my mood a bit. What made him the best boss? Well, first he was kind. Second, he saw the best in you and treated you with respect. Third, he corrected privately and with grace. I was scolded once, and it was the easiest scolding I have ever received from anyone ever. It was pleasant and that made me want to do my very best for him. And finally, he trusted. After the “scolding”, I took the corrected document to him, he signed it without looking at it. I asked him if he didn’t want to check it. He said, “well, you told me that you fixed it and I trust that you did. I trust that you did what you said you did.” I learned so much from him that I put into practice when I became a “boss”.
