The grouper is a beautiful fish to photograph; a challenging opponent for the angler; and unfortunately for them delicious to eat. I tended to rest my fishing pole on my belly and fight the grouper for what seemed like - and on a couple of occasions may have been - hours. One time, I got a huge bruise that my doctor saw and wanted to know what happened. I had problems with ulcers as a teenager and he was concerned I was bleeding internally. Nope, just fighting with a grouper. Enjoy!
