I love these sea fans. I have found small ones washed up on the beach a time or two (after storms.) Storms are a part of nature, but other risks are caused by us. I am thankful for the scientists and volunteers who are working to find ways to revive our coral reefs! That way my grandkids and their kids can enjoy diving or snorkeling in the Keys.
