David must have had a Norman Rockwell(esque) coloring book. This reminds me of Norman Rockwell. Anyway, there are so many different interpretations for what is happening in this scene. I see at least three. I find it interesting because you can imagine your own story and have fun. What do you think? Enjoy your imaginings.
