We were kids when we had a complete or full solar eclipse in North Carolina. Everyone was so excited about it and made boxes with pin holes to view it safely. It was amazing to experience the day turning to night and back to day again. One of my dad’s employees claimed he overslept because it was dark when he woke up and went back to sleep. Not sure if that excuse worked or not. I am thinking that memory inspired David to color this to look like an eclipse, but I’ll never know for sure. Enjoy!
