Are spirals sacred?

They occur in nature all around us.  You can see it in the small Christmas tree worm to the galaxies in the heavens as well as in frightening weather such as hurricanes and tornados.  It is no wonder then that many cultures have made it sacred.  It is so aesthetically pleasing that it is used in architecture, art, and design.  Enjoy!
